Real Stories From People Finding Their Way Through Major Life Change
Different stories.
Different transitions.
The same deeper movement: from feeling lost, stuck, or uncertain toward more clarity, self-trust, and a stronger sense of who they are now.
The people below came to coaching at different points in their lives – after burnout, breakup, redundancy, uncertainty, or a deeper sense that something needed to change.
Their stories are different, but the pattern is similar: making sense of what had changed, reconnecting with what mattered and who they were becoming, and finding a grounded way forward.
These stories are not promises or guarantees. They are examples of what can happen when someone has space, structure, and support during a major life transition.

Here are a few more reflections from clients navigating change, uncertainty, and questions of identity.
From difficult life events to hope, clarity, and authenticity
I came to Rob having experienced significant life events that hadn’t been fully processed. For much of my life, I had struggled with my mental health, and only later received a diagnosis of neurodivergence, which allowed me to reframe many of those challenges with greater understanding and compassion.
Reaching out to Rob initially felt like a real leap into the unknown. However, he created a calm, safe space where I could begin to attend to the parts of myself that had been asking to be heard, particularly around loss, grief and authenticity.
Rob walks alongside you rather than directing you. His style is characterised by thoughtful questions, careful listening, and allowing you to do your own work.
Through our conversations, I feel freer, more hopeful and with a renewed sense of energy. The impact has extended beyond me and has positively affected my family as well. I would encourage anyone considering working with Rob to take that step.

From uncertainty about work to clearer direction
"Working with Rob was effortless and allowed for exploration of career goals on my own terms. He is very attuned and natural, giving space for exploration and self-awareness. He is not an advice-giver and this leaves valuable room for discussions of personal growth based on your own values and vision for your life. I recommend anyone to work with Rob if you’re looking to explore value-driven career and personal decisions and delve deeper into self-awareness. Most importantly, Rob creates a fun and non-judgemental environment so that I looked forward to our meetings."

From career transition to greater clarity and direction
"Working with Rob is one of the best decisions made during the COVID period, was going through a career transition, Rob provided an exploratory and safe space which enabled me to navigate the changes. We were able to work together to align my future goals. I found him very adaptable because he adopted a mentoring/ coaching approach which allowed me to delve deeper into the why's of my choices. I was able to develop and improve my communication and facilitation skills. I would definitely work with and highly recommend Rob. His approach is people-centred, very interactive and visual."

The people I work with don’t usually come to coaching because everything is fine.
They come when something has shifted.
A role.
A relationship.
A career path.
A future self.
A sense of who they thought they were becoming.
The transitions are different.
But the deeper work is often similar: making sense of what has changed, reconnecting with who they are now, and finding a grounded way forward.
If you’re going through a major life change, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
